GraphCad Converter formats the 3D model into a mesh and uses a comprehensive set of unwrapping tools to flatten the shapes accurately. The software then uses the physical properties of the material (type of material, elasticity factors, etc.) to analyze the tensions and stress applied to the material once assembled.
The resulting Feasibility report is generated in PDF format and can be forwarded to the 3D modellers for potential alterations.
Following the flattening process, the patterns are used with the GraphCad Marker to automatically produce an optimized nest or generated into DXF files for use with other CAD software.
The rendering process in GraphCad converter 3D® gives a realistic display of the virtual prototypes. You can apply a texture or colour and a multi directional mesh showing you the direction of the fibre in composite materials.
GraphCad converter 3D® allows the patterning process from 3D to be the most accurate and enables the seamless manufacturing of precise composite parts.
